Governance
Authority and sources, decisions, versions and corrections, and provenance of the PRISM Commerce canonical content.
Change and version principles
- Published canonical versions remain recoverable and are never silently overwritten.
- Every substantive change identifies source, rationale, reviewer, approval, affected content, effective date, and version impact.
- Corrections preserve the earlier record and link an erratum or correction note.
- Normative changes require explicit Human Authority approval and a new version where appropriate.
- Explanatory changes may use the established editorial workflow but must not change canonical meaning.
- Translation changes record the source-language version and review status.
- Release files and developer handoff inputs use SHA-256 integrity records.
- Git commits remain discrete by governance stage and must leave a clean working tree.
- Rollback restores an earlier release without deleting the failed or superseded audit record.
