  1. The platform presents a retail offer based on Virtual Inventory.
  2. The customer places and pays for an order with the platform’s retailer.
  3. The paid order creates a procurement requirement.
  4. The platform selects an eligible external product source.
  5. The retailer or its designated purchaser purchases the product.
  6. The product enters the fulfillment flow configured for the order.
  7. The platform manages or coordinates delivery and the post-purchase customer process.

The route may include consolidation, inspection, repacking, relabeling, a platform or logistics-partner facility, or supplier-direct shipping. The operations depend on the implementation and order. Availability, price changes, and possible substitutions are addressed through sourcing controls and customer terms.
