Expert Commerce is a core architectural pillar of PRISM Commerce. It connects specialists’ knowledge, reputation, community relationships, and judgment with the platform’s commerce infrastructure.

An Expert Commerce Curator (ECC) selects products and sources, develops assortments, improves product information, and provides category-specific guidance. An Expert-Curated Storefront (ECS) is a destination within the platform built around domain expertise, selection quality, and audience trust. The experts and their curated environments form the Distributed Expert Curation Network (DECN).

Platform sourcing provides assortment breadth; expert curation provides depth, relevance, and professional context. In the base model, ECCs and ECSs are not independent sellers: the customer-facing retail relationship and the infrastructure for payments, procurement, fulfillment, returns, and claims remain within the platform’s retail architecture.

Glossary: Expert Commerce Curator (ECC) · Expert-Curated Storefront (ECS) · Distributed Expert Curation Network (DECN). Roles: Role architecture.
