From the canonical source

Proxy describes the platform's function as an accessible retail entry point to products held by external inventory sources. It does not, by itself, define the platform as a legal agent or funds-forwarding intermediary.

— Canonical Specification v1.1, §3.1

Retail means that the customer purchases from the PRISM retail platform rather than merely purchasing a forwarding or procurement service.

— Canonical Specification v1.1, §3.1

Inventoryless means that the displayed assortment does not require the platform to pre-purchase and hold all displayed goods as its own physical stock.

— Canonical Specification v1.1, §3.1

Sourcing means that selection and purchase from an external inventory source are initiated in response to an order.

— Canonical Specification v1.1, §3.1

Model means a coherent commercial and operational architecture rather than a single software feature or logistics step.
